Federal vs. state/local awards

Federal awards from USAspending include recipient name, UEI, agency, NAICS, contract value, and period of performance for most prime contracts. State and local awards vary by portal. Civic AI normalizes what each source publishes; some fields may be sparse compared to federal data.
